Why does nos purge
Do it the other way around nitrous before fuel and your toasting pistons. So is it mandatory to have a purge,, NO. Is it a good idea,, sure if your wanting to hit the tires as hard as possible at launch or trying to squeeze every last hundredth out of the clock. Aug 27, 3. Messages: 2, Likes Received: 2. Just purge it through the motor in the staging lane if it's a kit. Aug 27, 6. Messages: 2, Likes Received: 0. Right now with the powershot, my father just hits the button once or twice. Giant spoilers on street vehicles. Venetian blinds wtf is with this?
Scissor doors. I wouldn't go ahead with putting the Co2 kit on in your case, but that is literally just my opinion against yours and others. People should be free to modify their car the way they want to, without worrying about discrimination or name calling.
So really, the decision is up to you. Now see that's what I want, I want someone to talk me out of it with facts and reasons, I have spent too much money on engine conversion and redoing the interior, some minir exterior mods, and I don't want to ruin all that by adding this purge kit, BUT the resistance in my head is SO strong that I am confused, this is the reason I actually went ahead and bought the whole kit already but didn't put it in yet S can someone tell me it's ok to put it in my car hehe that's my resistance in the head gghhrrrr.

In my opinion, only visual tuning is ridiculous. It'll take that variable out when you start to step on your tune-ups. Post by Mining4air » Thu Jul 27, am One thing I have learned over my years in racing and following racing is to look up. Look at what the guys running faster than you are doing, and look at the guys that are doing it professionaly are doing. Than I'm gonna purge. They usually dont do it if its a bad idea.
Just my 2 cents. Post by Greg D » Thu Jul 27, am There are a bunch of reasons to purge your system and I can't think of any reason not to. Re: question for the nitrous guys, to purge or not to purge Post by awesomebill » Thu Jul 27, am You should have 2 purge systems on any NOS combination.
One to purge the bottle pressure to the prescribe pressure to keep the NOS fuel mixture to the point of your tuning and jetting has been set.
This will lean out the fuel mixture and cause the burn down when you are already set at lets say psi of bottle pressure. So you have one to keep the bottle pressure and the other should be purged into the engine to clean the lines out right to the solenoides.
You will see most every car raise the rpm a little after the primary purge and they will purge the system until they get a clean rpm rise. Once it is clean, the NOS is right there and will ususally promote more even and better. The backfireing is usually caused by the rich condition and pulling the timing out when no nos is present. Bad mistake. Usually occurs when the rpm is not up enough or they did not clean out the systems into the engine. NOS will not hurt any engine when used correctly.
Neither will proper purging. Post by shawn » Thu Jul 27, pm One thing I have learned over my years in racing and following racing is to look up. That IS the momentary lean condition]. Back in my younger read irresponsible days when I used to street race, I purposely didn't purge the nitrous due to the fact that when I purged the gaseous nitrous it should be liquid at the solenoid the system would hit so hard it would break the tires loose where if I didn't purge the nitrous, the system would go rich momentarily and subsequently help get the car off the line with out spinning the tires, then come on hard right about the time the car got hooked up.
Post by proengines » Thu Jul 27, pm It's been about 10 years since I raced a car with nitrous and purge systems weren't terribly popular or available here. I used to give the nitrous a tap after the burnout with a button in the car, that way I knew there was gas and fuel at the solenoids.
