How do you kill adamantoise

Using Warp Points is vital to surviving the fight and constantly regenerating MP enough to continue chaining Warp Strikes together. There are Warp Points on either side of Adamantoise that are a fair distance apart, meaning that Noctis can efficiently navigate around the field of battle to avoid wherever Adamantoise is attacking at the time. These Warp Points, based on character build, can also instantly regenerate Noctis' MP pool and make chaining Warp Strikes in mid-air against Adamantoise a thing of ease.

Noctis will inevitably have one of his summons come online in the middle of the battle, and it would be foolish not to use free damage when available. We recommend sitting on the summon until you begin to feel tired or feel your focus in the fight beginning to slip - the Final Fantasy 15 summon cinematic that plays is a perfect excuse to take a couple of deep breaths and get ready for the fight once it begins again.

It may seem silly, but Adamantoise isn't necessarily a fight that measures player skill in combat, but rather patience, execution, and focus. The Adamantoise fight is a marathon, not a sprint. It is nearly impossible to complete at an average post-game player level between before 45 minutes or an hour have passed, and it is easy to get impatient and begin spamming Warp Strike attacks and hoping they connect.

That's a recipe for disaster, however, as having Noctis enter Stasis when he's near Adamantoise's head will result in him plummeting hundreds of feet into the rocky ground, which will almost always put him in Danger immediately.

Instead, keep an eye on your MP bar, make sure to chain Warp Strikes when available, and always play it safe and use a Warp Point whenever you think Adamantoise is gearing up to strike back. While this goes against the general advice of this article, if you're comfortable in the middle of the fight with the rhythm and strategy required, we highly recommend sitting underneath one of Adamantoise's charged attacks and timing the block right so that Noctis can parry it.

It results in one of the cooler party animations in the game, and it's a neat little easter egg that doubles as a quick source of burst damage against Adamantoise.

The Adamantoise fight is daunting, to be certain, but it is a very doable fight that relies less on perfect timing and more on a patient, measured approach.

While an hour or two might seem like a ridiculous length for a boss fight, keep in mind that Final Fantasy 15 's Adamantoise fight was originally advertised as lasting multiple days. Remembering that fact during the fight will help make it go by a bit more quickly, and if you follow the tips from this guide, the Adamantite Bangle, 50, gil, and most important, sick bragging rights will be yours in no time at all.

Ah fuck it.. Just beat the Adamontoise — biggest strategy for me was using Gladio until I could use the chain Armigar, then warping the crap out of its head with the unlimited MP it gave me unlock with AP.

Took a little over an hour, but totally worth it! Tried hunters tactic and it actually works, use the ring of lucii and jump from warp point to warp point sucking his hp, it took me about 13 minutes and not even half his health bar was gone and he imploded. Save yourself the monotonous 2 hour battle abd try this.

Beat him in about 20 minutes. While in Chapter 13 I jumped back in time using Umbra. When he hits halfway he dies. Well im not sure if this was just chance or something, but im level 51 and i just basically one shot adamatoise.

Not sure if anyone has tried this but if you use the Ring of Lucii and you do the black hole thing it might one shot him. Might have been a fluke or an extremely rare chance cause i cant repeat it. Sorry for false hope anyone. You can still try though at least and hope it works for you. I literally just did this today! I kept warping to differant points to refill my mp and just spammed the ring, it worked after about 45 minutes.

I had actually just done this unintentionally. Afterwards some crazy cutscene occurred and poof the fight was over. If you have thr ring if luciis just use r1 triangle until he dies it usually takes me anywhere from 10 trys. Ring of lucci blackhole spell worked for me.. I can confirm that the ring of luci method does indeed work and quickly. Can confirm that the Ring of Lucii cheeses the Adamantoise. It took me 7 mins from start to finish, and as an added bonus the Adamantoise visually glitches on me and only his head was visible by the end of the fight.

I went there as lvl 43 and took it down in 15 minutes. I equiped the Ring of Lucii end game weapon recieved in chapter 13 if im correct and its real great. Dealt a mere damage not much i know but it does add up over time. Just warp to the warp point on the left of his head your right when facing him and spam the death spell on him using the ring. It may feel like cheating in the end but it works. All you have to do is hold triangle and keep spamming to send him to a void took 2 min, but you keep teleporting to a rock and unlimited mp easy as hell.

My advice is to use the ring of the Lucii! I was 3ven able to skip around a third of its health due to the way enemies explode when you use the ring! I had to heal maybe once. Took about 10 mins or so at lvl Your email address will not be published. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment. Adamantoise is a giant turtle-like boss in Final Fantasy XV.

It is located near the main hub in the game, Hammerhead outpost. The hunt for the this giant beast is a part of the Let sleeping mountains lie quest , that is given to you by Cindy in Hammerhead after finishing Final Fantasy XV. Spam death. If he gets up, restart and retry until he dies :P. Yes the cheap way to kill him is to let Vanille learn Death.

At the start of battle, use Vanille's summon. Adamantoise will then fall to the ground. Use this time to cast Death over and over again hoping that it will 1-hit kill him. Keep Vanille casting Death. Have Fang go SAB and debuff the hell out of the turtle, then when the summon's meter is almost empty go into Gestalt mode.

You should end up taking about 1mil from the turtle from the summon. This sometimes works, and sometimes he gets back up and kills you. Still, this is a little less cheap than the Death method.
